Changes are coming to the Organ Donation Law in England!

 What is changing?

From spring 2020, organ donation in England will move to an 'opt out' system. You may also hear it referred to as 'Max and Keira's Law'.

This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.

You still have a choice if you want to be an organ donor or not when you die.

GP Online Services

GP online services gives patients the option to book appointments, request repeat prescriptions and view aspects of their GP records, using their computer, tablet or smartphone rather than having to phone or visit their practice. Our practice already has the facility to offer online access for our patients.

If you are not already registered for GP online services please register by clicking on the Patient Access icon on our home page or enquire at reception.

If you are between 28 and 38 weeks pregnant you are eligible for a Whooping Cough vaccine to help protect your unborn baby.

Please make an appointment with our Practice Nurse or speak to the doctor during your ante-natal check up.

are being introduced to improve the safety and quality of patient care. Because the Summary Care Record is an electronic record it will give healthcare staff faster, easier access to essential information about you, to help provide you with safe treatment when you need care in an emergency or when your GP Practice is closed.  All patients are opted into Summary Care Records unless they sign an opt-out form.  The opt-out form is available at the surgery.
